Decent hitter, good base stealer, and what looks like a roughly average fielder and several positions. Just turned 30 in January. Looking at his PITCHf/x and what he likes to swing at, he seems patient, but tends to go after inside pitches against righties.
How do the projection systems like him (including his name-sake)?

He puts about 50 points of OPS on Ryan "Dance Fever" Theriot, in case you're wondering. Chone's projections should go up, in some cases, if he moves from the AL and

Figgins would be a nice add, but "Hot Stove Cubbies" puts a lot of effort into giving off an air of disrespectability. Some linking to the articles he quotes wouldn't hurt.
That said... if we got Figgins, I'd try to play him at shortstop as often as humanly possible. He'd be a step down from Theriot on defense, but more than a step up offensively.

If Figgins were to play shortstop, I'd be all for it, but from what I've read, hardly anybody thinks he could play that position on a daily basis.
