This cold has my sleep cycles all screwed-up. So I surf the web for slivers of information. Found some AA and A- level news on the Cubbies.

The Chiefs have put out their promotional schedule. Bruce Sutter will be in town for one event, and it's a nice idea to get him and Ryno together. Best promotion ever: On six Wednesday nights, All You Can Eat hot dogs and peanuts - for free. A road trip to Peoria is looking like a better idea every day.

While we obsess over big league camp, minor league camp is about to get going. Our AA affiliate in Tennessee will start working out on Monday and their brief exhibition season opens on the 14th. Jose Ceda and Josh Donaldson are both mentioned as possible 2008 Smokies, although Donaldson could also start in Daytona, and Ceda, as we all know, could end up in Chicago at some point.
