An Update on Lilly's Curve

The mystery of Lilly's Disappearing Curve has been a thread all season. It is becoming quite clear, his change-up has taken a lot of the curves out of his pitch selection.

It may be justified for Lilly to rely more on his change, based on the numbers shown in the chart. He's generating more swings and misses, and swings out of the zone on that pitch compared to 2007 and fewer with the curveball.
