Giant's Closer, not the Beach Boy

Brian Wilson is the closer for San Francisco. He's used a cutter, and possible stopped using a cutter, and some two-seamers, but splitting them became futile. For now.

That's some nasty stuff. Here are the numbers (click headers to sort). His two pitches (the CH/CU are too rare to take very seriously, in terms of numbers) are both pretty tough to deal with.

Flat view

Since Wilson rarely throws anything but fastballs and sliders, here's just those two pitches in the flat view.

That's a pretty good overlap, but the slider has a little tail (unless he cuts it) or is straight, but the slider dips and hooks, but doesn't really get the separation close to home plate, making it a tough pitch to pick-up, assuming all else equal.;
