Another Day, Another Beating for Hill

Rich Hill's struggles continue ... on and on ... in Venezuela. The game is in progress, but Rich didn't make it out of the 2nd inning.

The wild pitches were consecutive. A runner got from 2nd to home on them, well played. (update The game is still going on , Tiburones 21 Tigres 7. Hill's seven spot is joined by a bunch, including eight off Justin Berg, who got two outs, but allowed six hits and three walks. Berg committed his own error to start the 7th, and then a home run, so at least one run will be unearned.)

Also in Venezuela, Angel Guzman lasted just four innings against Caracas. Two runs scored on a homer, and he allowed three walks, four total hits and struck out three. I saw part of Angel's outing, and his control was off and he fell behind hitters consistently. Oh, and the home run was by none other than Matt Murton.
