From MLBTR, Raul Ibanez has declined the Mariners' arbitration offer. It will take multiple years, and will cost the Cubs draft picks, but they're in the chase. If the Cubs feel he can help them win within two years, and can handle a third year on top of that, they may be willing to absorb the cost.
