Tim Stauffer will face Carlos Zambrano on what promises to be a cold and rainy night at Wrigley Field. Chicagoans woke to snow this morning, but that's all gone. Temperatures will be above freezing, but below 40, tonight.
Fear not, if you're attending the game you'll get a free pair of winter gloves. Picture blue gloves featuring both a Cubs and Pepsi logo. Warm and toasty. Get there early, only 10,000 pairs. On second thought, we'll see if they manage to give them all away.

In a nutshell, Stauffer is a strike throwing, ground ball pitcher. He's probably the best starter the Padres will send to face the Cubs this week, but he's probably not what the Friars had in mind when they drafted him fourth overall in 2003.
